Easter Nail Design

Easter week comes and goes over the celebration of Easter.

Most people begin to think of the traditional eggs and chocolate bunnies.

As you may have noticed for this time of year can be found in all stores the most striking, rich, beautiful chocolate figures at diferent  prices, sizes and flavors.

But yet many people do not know what the meaning of this custom that Jews and Catholics share or where it originated.

For ancient civilizations such as Greece, Persia, China and Egypt, among others, the egg was a symbol of new life. The eggs were used in festivals and rituals to celebrate the end of Winter and the arrival of Spring.

It also says before Christ the rabbit was a symbol of fertility and thus there are some old legends that explain the relationship between the rabbit and Easter. The most common is that which relates that the tomb where Jesus had a rabbit who witnessed his resurrection. The little animal wanted to communicate the good news but this animal  can't talk, so it occurred deliver colored eggs, meaning of life and resurrection for the houses. That's why every Sunday the Easter Bunny delivers eggs to remember the joy of the resurrection of Jesus.

Anyway I want to clarify that I am not making any suggestion how to celebrate Easter, my intention is to tell you a little about the origin of the eggs and rabbits which are symbols and images that we find everywhere we go and we made some reference to Easter.

My blog is dedicated to Nail Art and also tell the meaning of some designs I do, so therefore I want to share with you another of the designs I did for this Easter,I hope you like it and I would like to hear any of your comments, thanks for stopping by :)
